Driving experience around a circuit with history!

Ever wondered what it’s like to drive around a race track and follow in the footsteps of legends such as Ayrton Senna? Well now you can!!

French Car Show is delighted to offer the opportunity for you to bring your car along to this historic circuit and tackle the roller coaster that is Craner Curves and the Old Hairpin before you head over the blind right-hander at Coppice Corner. An opportunity definitely not to be missed.

£99 x 180 minute open pit is all sold out and we are only left with 3 hours of 15 minute slots at only £25 each. Donington has no sighting laps and we use Redgate corner to access the track.

We need more applications!

Meguiar’s will again bring us the top 25 French Cars stand located in the heart of the showground outside the Flux Paddock Suite (between clubs and trade paddocks).

Each successful entrant will get a complimentary Meguiar’s Gift Pack and their car will be judged to see who takes the 2012 crown.

The judging team is made up of respected club admins and club owners so completely independent of Meguiar’s and FCS.

JAE Show : : Japanese Auto Extravaganza - the UK's largest gathering of Japanese cars, clubs and scene.

But before you read on and go... Well I aint part of a Jap Car Club....? You don't have to be, this is why we are giving those car clubs a chance to come along as well. You will however need to get those Jap Car Owners from your club to get there arse into gear and make sure they attend. Now if you really do fancy it and you can't get them to come, don't worry you can still come along and camp you park your non-jap car in the secure parking and pitch up! Just ask me for more information

JAE is a full weekend of camping, entertainment and activities which embraces all Japanese cars from the UK and Europe for a weekend of likeminded family fun. Don’t forget to get stuck in – Five-a-side football tournament, Tug Of War Battles, Endurance competition, Japanese Food and Drink eating competition, Car Pull, Bungee Challenge, Inflatable Jousting, Time Attack Go Karting, Trade Areas... etc etc and other NEW events yet to be announced!

Where is JAE: Wicksteed Park, Kettering, Northants

Time: You can arrive from 7am on the Friday – Gates are open 24/7 – You can come and go as you please!

How much are the tickets: £25pp in advance this includes camping and a Free Show guide or it's £30pp on the gate this also includes the camping and access to all JAE Events taking place! Each child under -12 get in for FREE for the entire three day event (provided each child is accompanied by an adult).

Competitions - Remember to check out the list of events and activities and make sure you enter your team into the IKO and other competitions. Make sure you check back for regular updates and keep in touch through the forum for the latest news and information

All car clubs can enter any of the competitions and almost all the other activities beyond the funfair and circus big top are free! The awards and presentations will take place for all competitions on Saturday night immediately after the massive JAE Firework display

Families - For 2012 like we did in 2011 we will have an area dedicated for families only and is a quiet area with a 9pm strictly enforced curfew. We hope that people will respect this and allows those with small children a quiet place to camp away from all the noise. During the day there is to be no loud music played in this area also as some families will be with very small children

This year’s show celebrates a new venue, new website and new attractions. We have rammed the venue to the brim with activities, access to the world famous track (drive in the tracks of Senna etc), British Drift Championship on Tour, Free Renaultsport Track Day passenger rides, live action, Meguiars Top 25, Rally Stage (dust free), all on a compact site.

The Fast Show 2012 - Sunday 25th March
With RWYB on Saturday 24th March and Weekend Camping available

Welcome to The Fast Show at Santa Pod Raceway, the first performance and modified car event on the calendar. Featuring huge club stand displays, Run What Ya Brung, Drag Racing and the awesome Fireforce Jet Car on track, Drifting and Stunt Displays, Trade Village, Caterers, Fun Fair Rides and much more.

Everyone is welcome at the Fast show, including clubs, individuals, supercars, modified cars, hot-hatches and retros. Whether your car is about “show” or “go”, there’s something for you at The Fast Show.

Saturday is a RWYB day, with plenty of track time running until dusk. Weekend ticket holders get to stay on site and enjoy the Pod Palais nightlife featuring top DJs and the Fuel Girls, while Sunday 25th is the main show day when all other aspects of the show take place.

WHAT'S ON:



Run What Ya Brung
The drag strip will be open for you to take your own car down the track with performance print outs! This is the cheapest track time in the UK - just £20 for 4 runs (Sunday) or £25 for unlimited runs (Saturday) on the track.

The track will be open for RWYB on the Fast Show Main Day (Sunday) from 9am-5pm and also on the Fast Show Test Day (Saturday) with late-night RWYB running from 10am-8pm (track conditions dependant).


The RWYB classes will be running across both days, so you can set a class-winning time on Saturday as well. If you want to get maximum track time then you may want to arrive on Saturday as the track gets very busy on Sunday.

Don't forget, your driving licence is necessary if you want to have a go. Full details and classes on the RWYB page.

Autoglym Show Car Paddock

If you’ve got a great looking show car, why not bring it round to the heart of the show and park in the Show Car Paddock? Open to all types of cars – modified, classic and retro… if it looks great and is in top condition, we want to see it.

It’s 100% FREE to enter, and there are trophies available for the top cars.
To enter, all you need to do is park up in the Show Car Paddock between 9am and 11am and register for free. The paddock is open to everyone and there is no need to pre-enter – Just turn up, park up and register! Winners Presentations will take place at 2pm.



Handling Circuit

A new and improved handling track will debut at The Fast Show. Featuring tight turns and precision manoeuvres, this is a fun way to test your skill behind the wheel of any car. Small and nippy cars stand level with big power cars, so make sure you take on your mates and hit the track.

The handling circuit is for road legal cars only and you will need to show your driving licence, but it’s FREE to enter, and there’s a trophy for the top driver, so make sure you have a go! Full details on the Handling page.



Drifting

If you like your cars rear-wheel drive and sideways, make sure you get over to the drift track and catch some of the drift action.
Drift Rides will be available for those wanting to experience the thrill of drifting first hand on Saturday and Sunday. (3 laps for £10)

Club Displays

Why not make The Fast Show your first club meet of the year? All clubs welcome, classic, modern and modified can all be found at The Fast Show. You could even organise a club competition on track.

Pod Palais

The "Pod Palais" is a heated nightclub with DJs, dancers, bar, seating and entry is FREE for all weekend ticket holders, so don’t miss out- this will be the place to be if you’re here for the weekend.

For Fast Show 2012 Pod Palais will be hosted by Dance Nation, your BIG night out.
Camp over on site on Saturday night, and you'll wake up on Sunday already at The Fast Show....





Fuel Girls

The Fuel Girls will be bringing their infamous stage show to Pod Palais on Saturday night!
The Fuel Girls have been performing their new show all over the world, already well known for their fiery, sexy stage shows but now they reach new heights as the show takes place above your head! Trust the Fuel Girls to keep you entertained in the way only they know how!





Jet Car

It wouldn’t be The Fast Show without something really bloomin’ fast, and they don’t get much faster than a 270mph Jet Car. Witness the power and feel the noise of the Fireforce 3 Jet Funny Car.



Drift Display from Team Maximum Lock

Team Maximum Lock will be traveling all the way from Malta to perform their sideways tyre-smokin’ show. A combination of top drivers and hot models will make this a drifting experience with a sun-soaked Mediterranean vibe not to be missed.




Miss Fast Show Competition: Always funny, undoubtedly flirty, and often a little bit dirty, the search for Miss Fast Show is a light-hearted competition to find the girl of the show.

You know, the girl who everyone is talking about! All entrants will have their Fast Show ticket refunded, plus there's a trophy and prize for the winner, so why not join in the fun?





Monster Truck

With each tyre weighing more than a family car, there’s nothing lightweight about Podzilla. This 1,300bhp, 5-ton, 4-wheel-steer brute willing be doing some big air jumps whilst crushing cars in the Live Action Arena.





Mobile Dyno

The Rapid GB Dyno will be at The Fast Show, allowing anyone to get a full power and torque readout and some tuning advice from the experts using some of the latest and most accurate mobile dyno kit available.



Dancing Girls

As always we like to offer you a variety of things to see and do at The Fast Show:

Pole Dance Shows - Free Pole Dance shows in the Pod Palais on Saturday night and Sunday.
Lap Dance Club - Saturday night entertainment extends beyond the confines of the Pod Palais, and spills over into the cosy atmosphere of the Mirage Lap Dancing Club.




The Nuts Stage

Nuts magazine will be hosting the main stage at the Fast Show.

Some of you already know I’m a Telford Policeman and that I have previously met some of the site administrators where we had a chat about DefinedRidez and issues surrounding ‘Police Activity’

For several months reports of ‘Boy Racers’ in the Telford area has been low, this has been a credit to both yourselves and the admin staff.

But….. Recently there has been rise in complaints from residents, shoppers and companies regarding noise, litter, racing etc. The main areas of concern are Wellington car parks, Wrekin Retail Park (Tesco area), Newport town and industrial estates and lastly the M54 services. O.K. I know that it’s only the few that cause the problems but in identifying those responsible (and for giving all Kroozers a bad name) Telford Police will be stepping up patrols. So keep it legal.

Please think RESPECT

Responsibility to yourself and the krooze scene
Enjoy the meet
Speeding is against the law
Pratting around is a definite No No!
Entertainment – ICE keep the volume down and stop blowing the horn
Community – think where you are and how your actions affect others
Tidy up any litter

So for the few - Please read this and take my comments on board… DefinedRidez and SMAPCC have a good name – don’t let it be you that spoil it for the rest!
