i no a few came last year and i no from talking to the organisers this year is about 4 times bigger than last year i think last year there was about 30 cars this year i no there is well over 100 so it will be a good day out..

Championship drag racing returns to Shakespeare County Raceway with round five of the UK National series. Featuring a colourful scene of cars and bike classes over 200 racers and teams will be competing for national series points over two days of qualifying and eliminations on Bank Holiday Monday.

Everything from super fast Super Pro dragsters, altereds and doorslammers through to the Sportsman categories will be hitting the strip in the only way they know how to - FAST! So entertainment is guaranteed.

In the bike ranks, teams who make up the ACU/UK Drag Bike Series will be just as busy with there 1000 horsepower monsters to the 190 mph Super Street Bikes, Super Twins and Junior Drag Bike.

ok all, after the huge success of modified midlands we had to organise the nxt 1, this 1 is set to be bigger and better, got totally modified mag confirmed so far but will be looking into getting other mags there aswell,

to all that went to the 1st one will know what a top night it was, to those that never... you missed a wicked night, so you will hopefully come show ur support at this 1, like i said for the last 1, we have organised this so we can all pull together and make another TOP night, after all, we all want the same thing,

we have got back up locations aswell so any unwanted attention then just follow ur convoy leader to the nxt location, but hopefully that wont happen, as you may know, the police was very supportive at the last 1,

Hey all, im organising a cruise to raise money for the help for heroes charity

so basically:

Blackpool Promenade
8:30pm
£5 per car, all money will go to the charity

i know its abit of a treck up for you guys but thought, with it being for a good cause a few of you mite take a trip up, maybe make a weekend out of it, its going to be a cruise through blackpool illuminations followed up by a meet, the convoy will probably be led by the police just so we dont get caught in traffic

Right, we all want a day out. I think that something other than car's for a change would be good!

I know that there are some that work weekends, so we want to know if you are able to book a Saturday off? (I think Saturday is the only day we can realisticly go).

I have got atleast 7 BOGOFF tickets that i'm happy to share. (Mine came with my Tesco clubcard vouchers...) Normal ticket prices are £38, or £30.40 if you book online. Does anyone know if you can use 2 4 1 whilst booking online? So its £19 PP on the gate, and £15.20 online.

I think a Saturday at the end of June? How's that for people?

Sharn was a member of Shropshire Modified and was introduced to us all by her son Martin (Gravy). She was the type of person who could always get a smile out of anyone she met, and was always up for a laugh (Normally more so than people half her age!)

Sadly, she was taken away from us on New Years day 2009 at the age of 46. Easy as it is to say about anyone we have lost, Sharn has definatly left a gap in our lives that no one could ever fill.

Sharns family have agreed to let us hold a memorial meet in rememberance of her. This is for all of us who loved Sharn, and wants to show her (And her family) that she will never be forgotten.

There will be Charity Buckets given around on the evening, and donations are going to the Severndale School.

Firstly just wanted to say a few thankyous to Straws and Abby for letting us take over their home, was a brilliant location. Jason and Courtney, thanks for taking the photos; have looked on here and facebook and they look great! And lastly to all of you for coming, and the models for braving the cold weather!

Secondly, I want to mention about Convoys. There were some people that lets say, left their driving skills at home last night! I DO NOT want to see overtaking in silly places for no reason, causing people to take avasive action EVER again! There is no need for it, but the people concerned have been spoken to. I know that Dylan has posted up about this already, but just want to make sure it is understood as we don't want accidents. This includes making exessive noise in an area such as last night.

Lastly, I hope that everyone got the pictures that they wanted? If not, then i'm really sorry! Please speak to me, and we can get in contact with one of the photographers to get some more snaps.

I hope this year is better than last and we dont have anyone get anything stolen this year.

Last year was a scorcher both on and off the track so this year will be off the scale. There will be action on the track with public track time and the BDC Drifting Round 2.

Some of you already know I’m a Telford Policeman and that I have previously met some of the site administrators where we had a chat about DefinedRidez and issues surrounding ‘Police Activity’

For several months reports of ‘Boy Racers’ in the Telford area has been low, this has been a credit to both yourselves and the admin staff.

But….. Recently there has been rise in complaints from residents, shoppers and companies regarding noise, litter, racing etc. The main areas of concern are Wellington car parks, Wrekin Retail Park (Tesco area), Newport town and industrial estates and lastly the M54 services. O.K. I know that it’s only the few that cause the problems but in identifying those responsible (and for giving all Kroozers a bad name) Telford Police will be stepping up patrols. So keep it legal.

Please think RESPECT

Responsibility to yourself and the krooze scene
Enjoy the meet
Speeding is against the law
Pratting around is a definite No No!
Entertainment – ICE keep the volume down and stop blowing the horn
Community – think where you are and how your actions affect others
Tidy up any litter

So for the few - Please read this and take my comments on board… DefinedRidez and SMAPCC have a good name – don’t let it be you that spoil it for the rest!
